Totally frustrated

I am totally frustrated because my selected blog name is not what keeps appearing when I log-in. Don't know what I've done wrong? I also don't know how others get nice visually pleasing pages. I thought this was simple to do but unfortunately I am finding otherwise. Also, my most recent posts are not showing up on my post log and when I do a search for my blog name nothing shows up. Ahhhh!!!!
